So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining

in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts (2 Pet 1:19)

 is god calling you?

How will you respond?

More than two thousand years ago, Jesus said “The harvest is ripe.”
The harvest he mentioned is still ripe. Why? Because the labourers are few.  Yes the world is hungry, but the emptiness extends beyond the table. The need is physical and spiritual. People hunger for opportunity to hear and experience God’s resurrection power.  But Paul asked, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”  (Rom 10:14).

Is God calling you to a special relationship with Him like no other. Is He calling you to be his witness? Answering that call will change your life, and you will be enriched by the Holy Spirit that dwells in you.  Answering God’s call means you must surrender your total life to Him so that you can reach His purpose for you.

Answering God's call means that we must be familiar enough with the Scriptures to be able to accurately and coherently present the gospel to others. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). Always being prepared means diligent Bible study, memorising Scripture, and praying for God-given opportunities to share with those whose hearts have been prepared by the Lord to hear His message of salvation.
